Good morning.
I ask you, kindly, if you can extrude a long surface 2 3d polylines.
the two 3d polylines would correspond to the edges of the upper plate of monorail. there are curves, rotations and dislivelli.
At this point I would like to be able to extrude the monorail section along these two 3d polylines.
Thank you for your help.

Thank you very much.
I see that for a pretty straight piece it works for me, but if I try where I have a twist it makes me mistake:
"The guide is not g1 between the first and last section."
I have the impression that the problem is due to a slight inaccuracy of the distance between 3d polylines.
is it possible to set a tolerance?

Maybe it would be "good and fair" that you'd break it for others who might have the same problem in the future, right? ?

Bad "bad" that one there!
I am one of those who would have liked to know how the problem was solved.. .

Excuse me.
in the end it was not a problem of "inaccuracy of the distance between the 3d polylines", but simply I had not created the region of one of the two sections.
interesting thing would be to understand if you can use as guides two non-split 3d polylines of my surface, but 2 lines however with parallel trend to it. Do you know if it's possible? I apologize again.

the post is of 2016 but' interesting.
in case you use the loft command with guides it is necessary that the guides are built by segments without net edges. you can 'obviate by creating a connection (even with a very small radius) so that, once united between them (segments and connecting arches) I give a guide in which the segments join the connecting arcs with a tangency, otherwise the loft command aborts giving the error message "the guide is not g1 between the first and the last section".
