extrusion of a jpg image, is it feasible?

It's the first time I've been citing myself with the comendo of extrusion, and what I wanted to accomplish is given by the jpg I referred to.
What I wanted to know is:

1) you can directly extrude a jpg image? (in the sense that it is not enough for me to give it a thickness, from the jpg in addition to the red front, there are white, blue, and dark blue edges. )

I wanted to do so to extrude those areas (actually the red facade would have remained the main one, the other two would have been the "oblique" areas created by the bevelling cap effect, and then there would have been the extrusion that would have given thickness to the writing)

2) if you could not do it, you would help me understand the way to color it by making sure that:

- the main facade is red

- the oblique area created by the "smusing cap" either white or blue (I arrange with the color, I just wanted to understand how it acts on that area of the writing)

3) you have noticed from the jpg that the "v" of the writing, is stretched over the other letters. is it possible to make a change of that kind on a single letter? (Tell me how, thank you)

Maybe there are. then I managed to understand that I had to work separately every track (but not necessarily on different layers). When I moved the tracks to the end of the processing that the edge of the rectangle of the image was included.

now after a (bel) bit of evidence I arrived provisionally to this result: all three tracks (outside, inside letters, written "cardfight!!"), well distinguished (and then grouped into cinema4d to be finally processed)

I hope I got it right.

I'm on my way. between a tide of tutorials and an imprecisated number of imprecisations as many as the stars in heaven, I came to these three results, for three distinct logos. only one (the "star" circular) has succeeded as it should be.

the written "vanguard" has the empty inner part (which I do not want). the "exclamation points" of the writing "cardfight" instead have around a gray part of the image.

probably it will be the fact of having to move them to the left (in fact they end up in the middle of a bliqua line of the "v" track in the upper part of the image)

for the crown instead, I divided (for my convenience) the track in two "blocks":

1) the outer crown,

2) removing the rest I selected with photoshop the remaining elements and then create a single track to overlap with cinema4d

what I really don't understand (and of attempts and tutorials I have really seen so many), is because if all the images that have a white background that delimites them, only in the image of the crown there is that edge (and on three sides, despite the selection there are four highlighted). paradoxically they would also be highlighted in the plot of the written "vanguard" but do not appear in the version of cinema 4d. same speech for the star circle.
