Hello everyone,

from creo 6.0, ptc declares that it will no longer support the use of cad on vdi horizon and citrix support (ptc support article - cs347396).
In addition to the ptc controversy that changes the cards at the table with a certain speed, I must understand how to shock the investment made on this technology that allows for greater control, especially on the outside.
At the moment in the company we use create 4.0, but we have in progress the upgrade project to create 7.0.
So I have 2 questions to ask the community to understand how to move:

1. someone uses creo 7.0 on vdi? What kind of experience are you finding? I mean obviously both in terms of performance and daily usage, but also at the time when it opens up ptc support requests.

2. Does anyone have experience with ptc creo in the cloud? If not of ptc, does anyone use a high-end cad in the cloud? with what kind of experience?

thanks in advance for availability.
greetings,

I have no direct experience, but I think like all the certifications of creo you have to take a little with the pliers. I have always used non-certified laptops but with good lenders and never had problems. policy is to bring customers to their cloud. We'll be testing our own cloud.
