I'm sorry I'm just at the abc. Unfortunately, at the university they don't teach us how to use revit and I have to do it with the strength of the tutorials.
I'm making villa scheu of adolf loos. I'm in total darkness because I can't do 2 types of floors.
1. ceiling sometimes made of prefabricated bricks

2.wood frames:
-travi+travetti+pacchetto.
while the top package I thought I would create a loft normally and then put the layers I want, I can't make the loft structure to beams and beams. I will explain if I want to put a structural loft on my own steel beams and in the various tutorials the only help is to "load a new family" that I don't know where to take since I tried to search for families of wooden beams without luck.
do you have useful links? or a model from which to start to create my own family.
(I have already tried to search in the forum but I have not seen wooden beams.
thanks in advance

in the standard library, installed with the software, there are different types of wooden beams. use those?

If the solution was so easy I would have used it.The problem is that the revit I have not loaded them. Where can I find them?

revit 2014 - however I solved thanks to a friend who made me download from autodesk us a lot of standard families including wooden beams, are of 2011 but fortunately revit updates it automatically.
thanks also for the attention!
