feature involved in an update cycle

Hello.
for the realization of a tree-race link with dependence between the parts, I realized, in top-down, a part in which I created a reference circumference and in other two the tree, extruding the reference circumference, and the hub, realizing a new circumference and projecting it on the reference one through the command "project 3d elements", in this last catia passage signals me an error: feature involved in an update cycle. I would like, first of all, to know if the procedure is right for achieving my goal, how can I solve the problem related to the project command and, finally, if the circumference that I go to create in the part of the references I have to define it as an emission feature.

Why create the new circumference and then project it on the reference one?
it would be preferable that you create all the entities you want to use first in the reference part (maybe generating them as offsets compared to the first and then using them in the other parts.
this you can do it using multiple sketches (the first for the shaft, the second with offset from the first for the hole, the third for the outer diameter etc.)
or if you do them all on the same sketch, you will have to define them as emission features otherwise it will not make you use them all together)
