Hello, everyone.
work in naval with inventor 2011.
the yard should send me a bow made with nx.
Have you ever tried "feature recognition"? you download from autodesk labs and should reconstruct the features of a solid model (and surfaces?). If it works, I would be very useful.
I know that even "fusion" would lead to such things, but I don't know much. Before installing "packs" I ask for opinions.
p.s.
the yard has already sent me a bow made with nx, but in format *.stp.
once imported into inventor came out a set of 1020 documents and 1019 occasions. It's the first time I work with a hull made entirely from solids, it's a wonder.
