fem analysis - new material

Good day to all.

I have to proceed with the fem analysis of a hook made with s 355 jr.

steel check in the material curtain. . I go into mechanical properties and set as a 510 n/mm2 breaking and 355 n/mm2 yielding parameter.

First break of maroni.. the reason programme in psi.

is it possible to reason in mpa or n/mm2?

. I insert all the parameters, I start the relationship .. and porca paletta are not changed the values of breakage and yield in the generated relationship.
then I try to insert different material.. (arms) .. and mechanical values are updated.

I'm a little demoralized. =

already done.. or rather I have duplicated a material.
to be precise, I duplicated steel, alloy .. I left all the parameters unchanged apart from yielding and breaking. the parameters on the settings tabs are correct. I launch the analysis, I generate the report.. in the ratio the yield values are to yield 250 mpa and 400 to break. .

looking on the net I found that in inventor the maximum limit is 40000 psi, that is 276 mpa... But I think it's a mess. .

you were right technomodel.. I had to create the material from scratch.. Then it worked!
