Good morning to all, are emanuele student of mechanical ing of padova. I'll introduce myself quickly. I am 26 years old, I worked as a designer for 4 years after graduation after which I returned behind a bench. Now I'm doing the thesis and I'd like clarifications if someone can give them to me....as from title I would like to understand how to set the fem simulation a thermoplastic material like polypropylene (pp).
software used simulation xpress of solidworks:
question: I can set up a new material, am I can not configure it to my liking in particular insert the function that gives me the yielding load according to the operating temperature.
second, is the criterion of von mises still usable? I was reading in other posts that this criterion and quite approximate in these situations......consists?
