file.dat from wb in classic

Hello, everyone. .
I have a problem I couldn't answer. I did a modal analysis on a structure in the wb environment and now I need to import the model into ansys classic as I have to consider a modeling with solid65+ drucker-prager and perform a non-linear analysis. Unfortunately I realized that the .dat file produced by wb and imported into classic has no volume, corners areas etc.. so I can not enter forces, vary the type and material set in wb.
which would lead to the solution?

the behavior of ansys classic is correct as you describe it.
ansys wb generates mesh on "his" geometry and to write the ds.dat file that does not contain geometric information but only
-Notes
-elements
-materials
-types of elements
-pressions, forces etc.
-winners
-etc. etc.

return to your problem then proceed:
-to apply constraints, forces and other boundary conditions you must already in wb create "named selections" of surfaces. when they are transferred to the classic they will be seen as groups of knots (components) on which you can put your boundary conditions.
- if you create named selections with bodies they will be seen in the classic as groups of elements (components of elements). in the classic created a new element type (measure that it has the identification number "99") and a new matter (measure that it has the identification number "77")
you can select the various groups and operate like this (I write the commands, put your named selection to be called "pipe")
cmsel,s,pippo
emodif,all,type,99
emodif,all,mat,77

in practice select the pip component, modify the type of element to 99, modify the material to 77, replenish all the elements.

Hi, you were very clear.. as usual!
I imagine that if I had passed into the workflow from static structural, setup -->transfer date to new mechanic apdl I could not do the same editing operations or anyway examine all the peculiarities that ansys classic allows me. this because changes in geoemtria could easily be transferred.

I believe that with some "command snippet" in apdl within the model wb you riasca to ride it without having to pass in classical ansys, but of solid65 I know very little unfortunately.

solid65 is an element used to simulate the festive condition of concrete and in the absence of rebars (arming bars considered diffused in cls) also masonry as it serves me.
is definitive according to the domain of wlliam-warnke and can provide the evolution of the reaction bind with the progressive decay of the properties of the material. Unfortunately with the "snipppets" I tried but it seems that it is impossible to plot the formation of the cracks that in ansys classic should appear precisely from the command pl********** or on the gui da plot--> result or dl menu general postprocessor.
