Bye to all,
I need to create surfaces to export to igs files (I must import the igs into hypermesh) starting from a stl file.
I tried starting from the "generative shape design" environment then using the "surface machining tools" I made insert an stl file. So far I've imposed my model. But if I go to save in igs, when I go import this hypermesh file, I find a series of random lines connected to each other. is there no way to create a skin that covers the stl model?
thanks in advance

Hi.
to have surfaces from a stl you have to reverse engineering.

I know that both tspline and sub d npower can convert
But I think it's subdivided
better with mesh quad instead of triangular as of
norm is in stl ...
test with tspline.. .
I hope I was useful? ? ?
