gnucash is an excellent sw a libello purely accounting, especially to manage cash flows or bank account (I use it to keep accounts of an association), but attention that completely lacks the tax part.

so if you want to manage the accounting of a small business, including billing/invoicing/parcellation this is not the appropriate program.

Maybe it wouldn't be free....can be alternative to the classic excel sheet
