As for the plates in itself, I would say it depends on what you designed and what precision you need.

If they are folded and welded sheets, I would say that the development of the sheet and the design of the finished product bent. With regard to the development of sheet metals, see in the posts that we have already discussed regarding k factors (development correction according to materials and tools).

if it is a welded carpentry table I would say that it is good to make the assemblies, with useful views and distinct components complete with angles and cutting lengths, as well as profile description.
