there is time until 31 December 2010 for the adaptation to the provisions of prevention fires of tourist-hotel accommodation with more than 25 beds, existing at the date of entry into force of the decree of the Minister of the Interior of 9 April 1994.

Article 23, paragraph 9, of the Decree Law 78/2009 published on the official gazette no. 150 of 1 July 2009.

This extension shall also apply to accommodation facilities for which, within 60 days of the date of entry into force of dl 78/2009, the draft adjustment for the acquisition of the conformity opinion provided for in Article 2 of Regulation No 37 of 12 January 1998 is submitted to the provincial command of the competent fire department.

the existing tourist-hotel structures before the entry into force of d.m. 9 April 1994, with more than 25 beds, will have time until 31 December 2012 to adapt to the fire regulations.

the decree thousandprorogations, has that: the structures "that have not completed the adaptation to the provisions of prevention fires and are allowed, on application, to the extraordinary plan biennial of fire adjustment, approved by decree of the minister of the inside to be adopted within sixty days from the date of entry into force of this decree".

the non-compulsory structures which have no application, or which are not allowed on the above extraordinary level will be sanctioned as provided by d.p.r. 151/2011.
the structures that at the end of the period of 31-12-2012 have not completed the fire adjustment will also be sanctioned.

was published on the official gazette of 30 March 2012, and will enter into force at the end of April, the Decree of 16 March 2012 of the Ministry of the Interior which provides an extraordinary two-year plan for the adaptation to the fire standards of accommodation facilities with over 25 beds.

the dm puts an end to the many prorogues that have happened in recent years, regarding the obligation for hotel managers and tourist facilities to adapt to the provisions of fire prevention.

the extraordinary plan was decided by the government with ildl 216/2011, converted into law 14/2012, to proceed to the fire adaptation of the tourist-hotel accommodation facilities with more than 25 beds, existing in May 1994 (date of entry into force of dm 9 April 1994) that did not complete the adaptation to the current provisions of fire prevention.

At the date of entry into force of dm 16 March 2012, the fire safety requirements laid down in the Annex to dm 9 April 1994, supplemented by dm 6 October 2003, and the supplementary safety management measures.

the plan starts from the date of entry into force of the dm and indicates the program of adaptation to the fire rules to be realized by 31 December 2013.
