with 2011 revit sees all the cpus present on the machine
with 2010 I only saw a cpu (xeon qcore) and 4 cores (i7 with 6 cores had already left? )
with 2011 I saw both cpus and then 8 cores
around I only saw one amd card that costs only her 720 euri with 4 cpu
on which the amd opteron range from 6128 8 core 2000 mhz (for which 4x8=32core) to 6174 12 core 2200 mhz (4x12=48 core)
with a cost of 1200 heur for 4 6128 to 4500 heur for 4 6174
then add some ram (the mb in question brings up to 256 gb)
at the end you find a bank that lights up your mortgage
and I scanned the wife trying to turn on you
in the design phase I don't think it changes very much
But then make a render with 48 cores..... I think you don't even make time to go drinking coffee
