Hi there!
if you have created your basic face and then you have applied a flange you just need to click on the "flat model" icon
and here you have your "fazzoletto" of sheet anticedent to physical bending processing, with its bending axle line.

I believe because that plate fitting already folded, in flat model would have the faces "svergolate, therefore deformed, and inventor does not support deformation work on flat model.
to understand try to do the opposite thing, create a flat sheet with your part to fold and the fittings. Then do a sketch with a line at the base of the fittings and use the fold command.
when fold, you will see that the areas of the fittings are overwhelmed, so for opposite reasoning... .

p.s.
to attach files, if they are not too big, attach them directly without passing by megaupload or similar.
You do first to download them and avoid advertising. .
