flat model of parts and table iam

I have a set of sheets folded in the table insert the various flat models of ipts that make up iam, when I go to fix iam and ipts to make a new sheet the flat patterns in the idw lose the reference and remain associated with the old ipts.
Is there any way to overcome this problem?
so that they automatically update?

opening your table idw - management - replace model reference
in the opening window you will see all ipt models "old" and replace them with new ones.

Thank you, I didn't know this function... It has advantages over deleting ipts and reinserting them , it keeps me putting on the table if it is complex is a good thing , but also of the disadvantages , I must always find folder where pieces have been saved, to associate them correctly if there are numerous becomes laborious .

In fact, by experience, I recommend you to make table for each single component of sheet metal.
I know "turn" for the workshop more designs but to each department his design.
cut/foot has its design for its department, welded with its drawing together and call the components back to its department

the command is there from the 1st version I used (inventor 5 year 200)you can find it by clicking the dx button on an inventor file

As for saving, if you use a pdm (example vault) or other, you should use the pdm duplicate. However, since this command allows you to duplicate files and create others, working in your pc or network, the important thing is to give the file name with the correct code. the management at most creates an article (code) and then manually I imagine you save the inventor file with the same name. allows you to duplicate a set and its parts, keeping the connection with the new boards without having to replace the 3d model
