Hello everyone!
I open this discussion to have advice on a fuidodynamic analysis of end vortices of a generic wing in 3d!
the wing is extracted from a symmetrical profile 0012 with rounded end edge.
the length of the rope is about 1,2 meters.
the first question is:
- What size should the wind tunnel contain the wing? Do you have suggestions? Is there anything in literature?
greetings to all and thank you!
Lorenzo

The simulation is numerical!
I found several scientific articles dealing with wind tunnels!
cmq I solved regarding the size!
If I have other issues I will definitely write to you!
Hello and thank you
Lorenzo

I also have to do such a job, what size of gallery you used and especially how you reproduced in proe the naca profile

I made two galleries!
one for the "far-field" size 15c x 15c x 30c
one for the "near-field" size 3c x 1c x 1c

in proe there is a function insert formula and so I built the profile!
then I created the rounded end with a revolution operation then through extrusion the wing body!
