Bye to all,
It is the first time I enter a forum and ask a question, I hope not to make pastries and I also hope you give me instructions to ask the question in the right forum, and follow the discussion after placing the question.
here is the question, preceded by a small premise:
I would like to make with corrugated cardboard templates a mask made in the shape of human skull to fit on the head
to achieve this result I thought that I could photograph a model and process the image or images taken with various angles so as to obtain a 3d design made of a triangular knit pattern. once the reticular model is realized, I would disassemble it on a floor. I would like to get the complicated equivalent of a parallelepipedo or a polyhedron designed to fildiferous and then develop it on the floor. In this way I would get a printable 2d design and the resulting paper copy could paste it on one or more cardboard sheets. I would then cut out, fold and paste the cardboard silhouettes and rebuild the skull as it was a helmet or helmet in which to put the head.
the question is: are there programs, possibly but not necessarily free, that allow to realize this productive path?
Of course I also accept suggestions on the best strategy to be implemented to achieve my result, in case that just illustrated you felt too complicated or unrealizable. I use a laptop with windows 7.
thanks to all
