Hello, excuse me... I have a question to fly... with sw can I save in .stl?

Of course you... before you open discussions at least engaged a little by yourself otherwise it is too easy! when you do "save by name" just select the stl format instead of the classic .sldr! format there are a tide of possible rescues including pdf and jpeg...

shooting to seize but I bet you want to import the model into solidcast!

exact... sorry, but I couldn't control, I'm in one trying to figure out something solid cast (at home I don't have this software) and here there's no solidworks... And so now I have to go up and down... it will mean that I will have to go home, save in the right format, come back here and import it into solidcast...:36_1_4:

If you need to know something about solid cast also ask in pm, I have already used it for the project... I remember the basic functions enough. . .

in pm...?
there is a section that is called "cae/fem/cfd general forum", go there and open a thread on the use of solidcasts, otherwise what is the forum for the exchange of private mail?
Do good, go there:wink:

ah ok, as it is practically 0 and needs a step-by-step guide we say... If you want to try to make one in that section... far from being exhaustive but at least for university projects it is enough and advance!

eye that the student version should have export disabled if I don't remember badly, I don't know if between the blocked formats there is also stl.

go there and open a thread on the use of solidcasts,
I have already opened a thread on solid cast, but nothing... anke one in general mechanics... and I have anke presented x well... but I have not received any response... here the only serious forum seems to me this... and I don't say it x make you the slip, but you are all competent people, patients and exhaustive:4425:

valeria, I do not think it is bad will, the problem is that specialized areas are much less frequent than those dedicated to widespread cad.
for this reason answers or arrive after a long time or do not arrive at all.
Have patience, it is not a question of seriousness.

install teamwiewer and you can check the home pc even from the university.

I'm a little distrustful. for now I solved by installing at home a trial copy of 90 days...

seems interesting... What do you recommend? http://www.teamviewer.com/it/download/index.aspx
download to install the full version (the first of the list).
install and activate the "not for commercial use" license.
I recommend, once installed, to give your pc at home, a password (in options/protection)
"fix" so you can access your PC even without having noticed
of the pass that automatically encloses the tw.
you can sign up quiFor non-commercial purposes
is completely free.

bye:

So... Let me understand... I install it on my pc, and can I access my pc from any other pc?
and if I install it on the fixed ke on the laptop? can I avoid transferring files via usb? Everything on the net?
but what limitations are there? I mean, I install it, you have it... I see your pc??? I don't understand. .

Once installed you will have a unique id to which you can access from any pc that has in turn the installed tw.
remember to record your id, or register for free by creating an account
on teamwiewer and you will always have the session without having to
insert the id.
for file transfer, there is a special option.
However it is easier to do that than to say it... If I could...

ps: to see my pc you need me to give you my id and pass.
