freezes and deflates layers of a group

Hello.
Excuse a question.
I have a group in which I have multiple layers.
I put the group on a specific layer. When the congelo doesn't hide everything from me... or freezes other layers hides me pieces of my group?
I hope I've been clear.

I never use groups...cmq I think it's something like blocks and if you create a block with objects that are on a layer other than 0, then view some objects even by turning off the layer on which the object is located. e.g. create a block with the objects a bit on layers a and b and insert the block in the layer c, while extinguishing c you will continue to see the objects of the block on a and b until they are active!

if you connect the layers of the elements that make up the group will then only be frozen.
if you bring the whole group to a single layer, all the elements that are part of the group will be brought to that layer.
