Good morning, guys.
as from title I am making conversions of some models (internal architecture) from 3d studio to inventor.
as first step I make convert the 3ds file to step or iges by mechanical, then load it into inventor. and here begin the pains.
as I should apply to the texture model, I have the need (correct me if I'm wrong) to solidify or at least have a union of surfaces on which to work.
the model in inventor is recognized as a mesh. When they select mesh and mesh surfaces, the program inevitably nails. Is there another process to solidify the model without losing the head to solve problems of union of edges and surfaces?
place also the link to the file in case they want to go mad with me:
http://imagebox.altervista.org/disegno1.zip(the file is 23 mb). Thank you!
