hello to everyone, I'm doing a work of aerial experimentation on air ducts of a motorcycle, but before I can start having fun with fluent I have to set the surface on which I have to work.
Now the problem comes, the conduits have passed them with a scan, so as cloud of points or mesh that you will say you want. we use pro/e and I don't know how to use it, so I appeal to you to have qlc straight on how to make the transformation.
Thank you all, I hope I can return the favor.

you must use the reverse functions (module rex).
insert in a blank file the cloud of dots or the stalk (trinagular data) as a facet feature.
at this point go on insert > restyle and you are in reverse environment, you should see a toolbar on the right that allows the construction of surfaces in different ways depending on your needs.
It's not something you learn in 5 minutes... especially if the surfaces are complex.

the surfaces are not simple for a dick but thanks to god there is the designer of the company that even if engaged in other issues can give me a hand, even though he is not very practical of qst type of work.
the problem though is that to me the file has been sent in prt format and once saved in any other format (stl, stp, igs) it is no longer open to me and I don't know why.
Can you give me a hand from that point of view?

I do this, I reverse for half my time.
can you post the file, so let's see how complex the piece is?
otherwise if it is a reserved piece, send me your email address as a private message and I contact you.
also indicate that version of pro/e uses.

hi maxopus, I asked but the piece I can not send you, you know how it is but I managed to make it surface with the help of a couple of people more competent than me...
Now I wanted to ask you, if you know how to create an offset to the inside of an irregular geometric conduit to make it solid, with a thickness of 2-3 mm
Thanks again for the help
