Hello, guys.
I am having serious problems to make understand to ansys wb that (to begin with) a ''solid'' is actually a solid and therefore consequently the generation of mesh....

Sorry, I better describe the problem.. .
So, I have a solid edge assembly, and I have to perform a static analysis.
amount geometry (and so far all right (I think)), then I go to 'model', time to load geometry and this error signal appears.View attachment 44925then, I go to insert the parameters of the mesh, I generate the mesh and exit the following error messView attachment 44926I tried to change the mesh settings.... But nothing.
I think the problem is in the geometry of 2 components but... I have no idea how to solve it.

fabio your attachments do not open. try to put them back so that you can analyze error messages. What version of ansys use?

I have ansys version 15. Anyway I'm sorry if I can't show the normal configuration of the mechanical but it's been a couple of days that I can't restore it anymore.

ansys has a problem with the splines that describe the surfaces of the non meshate parts. What size did you import?

I imported them in .iges format...
However now the problem has moved only to element 33 ...

https://www.sharcnet.ca/software/ansys/17.0/en-us/help/wb2_help/wb2h_start_tabsviews.htmlin the above link you will find the path to restore the layout of the work plan. about import format a council, throw away iges and import geometry in step (iges works well only between siemens/ug software) and see if they improve things, otherwise charge the geometry of the defective piece here on the forum and see what you can do. Anyway problems with the splines are on the agenda when the steps between software and another.

ansys wb... element 33 was reported to the component that gave me trouble

mission complete xd was the import file the problem now the mesh generates it without problems

Great! now you will remember it for life, unless you use software siemens like nx+femap the dogma is iges=cacca :d

you will have a geometry to clean... .
try importing in step.
you will have some singular points that will bother you... pre-processing is the most complex part, look at geometry in the most curved convergence points.
But more so I don't know what to say
