Good morning, I have a set file in step format that I converted into solid edge.
I would have the need to create a single part file (.par) with elements that instead are (from the step file) separated in different pars. Can you advise me how to do this? I tried to make "union" from the assembly environment but I don't think it's the right command.
thanks and good day

creates a new part and through the command copy select the axieme.
make sure you have checked merge solid bodies e correct conditions not feasible.

I finally realized... it's called a copy but actually I have to go get it from the file I want to create. But now I have another problem, basically the files I'm putting are moved compared to the native, why?

Can I try loading your files at least explaining to me better? I've been trying for two hours! !

I believe I have understood the problem, in practice I have more axioms nested, if I go to a lower level of assembly and I make the copy of the singles practically loses the assembly constraints (I have more parts repeated in the various assemblies)

I would try like this:
  1. open a new par;
  2. copy 1715232166993.webp;
  3. point the axiom you want;
  4. play with the parameters as you prefer 1715232251446.webp

I sometimes carry out the assembly obtained from solid edge in parasolid format, and then re amounts the parasolid into a part template. often you get a single basic feature without the "copy part".
