from variable properties

hello to all, is there a way to read a number inserted in the file properties as a variable?

example:

the property

metrodiameter_internal_reduction a 12 a string a

I want the 12 to be read as a variable "v1420", is there a formula to be inserted in the variable table of this?

no, but you can do the opposite; in your case from the variable table put the check in the column "exposed" of the variable v1420 and in the column "exposed names" put "diameter_internal_reduction"
you will find in the properties of the file "diameter_internal_reduction" which reports the associated value.

Thanks for the celery answer, but that's not what I need. the property I indicated is inserted in 3d by our pdm. I would like to automate as much as possible the creation of some components and consequently the associated tables.

the pdm should insert the property into the variables and perhaps even expose it; I would ask for the implementation of this function in the pdm that would improve integration with solid edge
