functional /critical quotations

Bye to all,
work in a turnout and we need to unify the symbols in the drawings to report the various functional/critical/special odds.
each customer has its own standard (who uses a square who a circle who asterisk it etc...)but I wanted to understand if there was a rule explaining these symbols.
for now internally we are using a * for "critical/functional and technological" quotas, a spc symbol for all quotas that must be saved in phase of production control and then a triangle with legend for the quotas that require the cp/cpk, 100% control or particular documentation.
Can it be okay as a system or can it be improved?

some clarifications:
there are no functional quotas, but possibly non-functional quotas which must be inserted in brackets. all the others are functional quotas that are those that serve to realize the particular.
Special quotas do not mean anything except in the internal regulations of an office or in the head of the designer.
Critical odds... what do you mean by critical odds? that must always be controlled? which are important for the operation of the application? that are wrong 1 time out of two by suppliers and must be verified to acceptance? that the supplier must provide the dimensional report? Anything else?

I believe that the best solution and make an internal legend and group all the various symbols used by customers according to internal needs.
1 quotas to be acquired (in the case of documentation required)
2 important shares for operation or control in acceptance but without acquisition obligation (not required documentation)
3 quotas requiring more important documents such as ppap cp / cpk and particular documentation required by the customer "out of standard".
