general info on nx of siemens

hello to all guys I open this discussion to get some info about this software.
I'm considering a job offer where, I know for sure, that as soon as they find a fixed designer (which I could be so) they will pass to the nx of siemens (I believe and I wish the last version that is 12 if I'm not mistaken).
So I ask you, anticipately, how is this software I don't know. Let's talk about top-of-the-range software in the design field?or is it a mid-range program? is cad-cam or just cam?
I would like to have general information about this software.

Hello, the latest version of nx to date is 1855. do not be afraid but have passed from a progressive numbering to a 'mensile' numbering.
nx is a top program and is used by fca, daimler, to cite some users.
It is modular-vertical in the sense that you can have perfectly integrated modules of cam, fea, mcd, and everything that goes behind it.

It is not a complicated cad to learn, in my opinion.
a course done well, it is desirable, if not necessary, to work properly.

parametric > i.e. all entities are editable by parameters
