Good morning to all,
I haven't been writing for 6 years (I've worked for a company that used autocad 2d...) so I'm going again:
my name is fabio, I started 8 years ago working with proe 2001, now working with catia v6 3d experience 2017 in the valve industry.
I followed a short course on this program that I find very heavy, slow, unreliable, unintuitive and full of bugs... cabbage preferred the oldest of 16 years running on windows nt with 2gb. Let us see if you can change my mind, while I ask you some questions (I know that many will have already answered in other 3d, but at the moment I am taken and I have no time to read everything, I apologize in advance  .
I have to make some renderings, where do you recommend downloading colors?
Why can't the parts color? e.g. there are some pieces created by inserting the partbody of another component (to make the piece worked starting from the printed) does not color the whole body but should color all the faces.
Do you know any site with nice tutorials? (especially for modeling)
