I am trying, without success, to generate a curve using the "insert->curve->by law->equation" function in nx5.
I followed the guide but what I get is a straight line corresponding to the initialized constant value of yt.
i.e. if I initialize t=0 and imposed xt=i*t (the variable t is managed by the "curve by equation" command that makes it grow from 0 to 1, then in practice xt sweeps all the interval from 0 to i), xt varies correctly while the yt remains constant throughout the range to the resulting value from t=0. However, if in "tools->expressions" manually imposed values at case of t (including in range (0.1) ), I obtain the correct results of yt (verified by making a tabellina in excel).
I also tried to reproduce the example shown in the guide and in fact draws me a parable but if imposed my equation does not go.

I hope I explained!

There's something wrong with me, if you follow how much written in the documentation has to work. can you post the formulas you adopt (if they are not a secret of course)? go on the expressions and carry them so you can see even if you have correctly inserted the units of measurement.

Hi.

I finally managed to make it work, I don't know exactly what didn't go but I think there's a bug, assigning the same formula to two different variables in one case using one go while using the other no.
