Hi.
I'm a plm programmer and I'm approaching integration with cad thinkdesign.
I noticed that thinkdesign uses two formats, one for models and one for drawings.

a single file model incorporates all components or is there a possibility to use external references?

Hi.

thinkdesign 2d files consist of pure 2d elements such as
line arches...
Local groups
Shared groups
shared groups (x-ref) means that geometry is read by external files
more viewed .. that are related to the same model of reference.

3d models consist of:

local components
components x-ref
derived models.
