generic line based model

Hello everyone, I'm trying to create a personalised family and I don't understand how to do it. I do not find any useful suggestions in forums or videotutorial. use revit 2012My goal is to create an element consisting of a series of extrusions based on a line.
the result must be this(designed by autocad)

I have already prepared a paramentary arrow element for the dim length
I load it as a component in a new family "line-based generic element"....but I can't get the arrow sequence.

Also using the matrix I can't tie the value of repetitions to the length data.
I am notified of the impossibility of using the instances in operations.
I can't understand the correct parameters to set to achieve the goal.

the maximum would be to maintain even the parameterization of the length of the arrows, but if this is to ask too..salto the turn!

I hope to get closer to a solution or something!
