Save to all, as from title I would like to know if to someone has ever happened to have the need to paste the widia on a metallic support, for the need not to use vines and the impossibility to balancebrasare.
the application would provide that the particular is in motion (at the speed of an eccentric press) and receive blows from a swab. I already know you'll tell me that colipting widia is not a good idea, but for the momneto, pretend I didn't write it.
I've got a two-comp locitis. I would like to have some opinions on this.

hi, in my opinion you should be clearer about what kind of stresses will receive this widia, for example if it will serve to remove material or if you need only for its friction properties, because if for example it will act as sharp I think it is useless to paste it with chemicals but only the balancebrasatura will do to your case.

I work in the field of eccentric presses and I can tell you that I have seen tearing pieces "ultra bolted" or pulling welds because of the vibrations so it turns out quite unusual that you have to paste this piece into widia. However, it explains a little more in detail what you have to do because the information you gave is too generic.

I saw glue hard metal on steel (with graft) to a firm I know well, they realize and sharpen tools for industry, that particular application had been recommended by their supplier of hard metal and they used a structural epoxy, I think of the loctite. I'm not saying anything else because it's not my job, but if you need it, I can contact you.

hello and thanks for the speed.
I had also read the post, but I didn't realize that it lacked the detail of the type of work and there were also mistakes, so I remedy at least the first: it would actually be used as a side cam skater, not as a cutting tool. our problem is that it is a repair on a sheet mold that is not ours, nor our construction, so that we are evaluating all possibilities.
In the meantime I was able to find the technical data (pdf in English) of the loctite (9466) and seems strong enough, only that, if I don't understand badly, the "film" of glue should be about 1mm, which seems to us excessive, because it would leave a certain elasticity to the junction, and we would rather like a rigid set to protect the widia.
Fortunately I have the possibility to create a shoulder on which to support the widia so much of the parallel efforts to the glued face would also be supported by the shouldering.
the 50ml cartridge comes on 15€ so a test can also be done.
I still remain confident in some other intervention.

by paolocolombani: If you want to turn me in pm some of your more detailed information, I will definitely keep it in mind if the matter will have a follow, thank you.

I have seen a long time ago, pasting fine-cutting matrices with a product that was called heralditis and marketing it milan mask, I did not understand your application well maybe if you place a little diseg. I can help you, I have worked several years in a trancery of magnetic plates and the hard metal was on the agenda.( the blows to the widia!! depends on how you give them and the context in which it is inserted.I saw pulling molds with widia inserts at 1100 strokes/minute )
Hi.

Here's a box of the matter: the first vertical stroke allows the horizontal slide of the drawer, then there is crawling.

It's a box!!!!
if you want help you have to try to provide + information possible (if you can ) otherwise we only lose time. to you is clear the problem for us is everything to imagine.
