you probably have inadvertently touching with the maus a 'stick in the logical tree. when it happens you can only enlarge the logical tree and not the component. this option you can also turn off tools -> options ... or go to select the white axle system on the bottom right

but without practice I see it hard.
by practice I intend to really work with cv5 and compare as much as possible with the daily problems.
