What do you mean by groups? maybe when they have a common prefix like, for example, walls-externals, walls-internals, walls-intonac, etc..., what allows a nested display?

I noticed that sometimes by duplicating a category or in the windows you create simli groups at ps levels... and I can't understand if you can do it automatically. .

just interspers the minus sign "-" between two voices and in this way you create groups of classes/categories with the same prefix. very useful thing for example when you import a dwg and you want to keep its levels separated from the categories already set in the file. assigning a prefix at import time, for example "dwg-" you will have the grouped view of all categories of this imported file.

using parametric objects, you can notice that they create their own categories to which sub-parts of objects associate.
this is done because in vw there is a main category (the active one) that is associated with the "container" that is the object to the highest state.
I give you a simple example:
create a red rectangle and associate it to the category "red"; then create a blue rectangle and associate it to the category "blue"; If you want you can continue with other elements. then create the category "symbols" and activate it, select objects and call the command "crea symbol". you have created a symbol (a block) of objects, which you can insert several times. the symbol in which category is it? that active at the time of its creation: in our e.g. the category "symbols". the symbol object, at this moment is the "container" of the various drawn elements, which however obey their own categories of belonging.
If you change the blue category, changing color or making it invisible, you will see that the symbols change. if you make the category "symbols" invisible, you will see that the symbols disappear, although their subparts belong to visible categories.

Therefore, the categories created by the parametric objects will substantiate the "container" that I created. Right? then, if I take out to artlantis the parametric objects will keep all attributes.

you can nidify them, but only at display level. If for example you have the "muri-in" and "muri-esterni" classes from the drop-down menu you will see the category walls and a second menu with listed interior and exterior.
