What do you use ansys?
have cylinders represented as unique surfaces and not two semicilindri

workbench ansys 18.1 (I don't have the license for catparts, so I only amount to universal formats)
I put a block analysis system as a "static structural" and from there in amount geometry:
what I get is segmented as said in the post.
metto geometry from component system, I connect it to any block of analysis system: geometry does not come out segmented.
in both modules import properties are equal.
I start calling the exorcist.
(from the same result both on my pc, and on others, same version of ansys, same as catia, license for both products running on a computational ws)
