Bye.

I have used acad for a long time and use it all the time, I have developed 10 styles of quota with different characteristics that could be adapted to the size of the various components designed according to their size and print format, mainly a4 and a3.
is it possible to develop quota styles even in sw so as to make the quotas adequately sized to the table of components with dimensions ranging from a few cm to a few meters ? that they are not shamefully large or shamefully small regarding the object to be listed?
of course the utility is in being able to select them to need as in acad.

Thanks, bye.

Hi.
I don't think you can do with standard commands,
in solidworks the settings of the quotas in the table are contained in the single table itself and to change them you have to change the properties within options->property of the document->quote
If you want these settings to be replayed at each table, you need to change the .drwdot template files.
the possibility to change to flight the style of quotas does not seem possible with the standard controls of solidworks,
you can do it with a macro, which changes these parameters to the flight.
create a macro for each style and place them inside a bar with icons that identify them.
I did a test by recording a macro while changing the odds parameters within the document->quote options and I saw it record.
If you want a unique macro that changes these parameters automatically based on the scale you have to create something more complex, but this is another story.

Good day

Of course you can do also in solidwork.. .
When you create the drawing, you set the odds you want. open the table options / document properties.
you find everything you want to change. . Once upon a time "Save in the external file" and give the name you want (consilge creates a folder where you want to insert all the quota styles)
always in options "system options" file postion / quotation/annotation preferences" click su "Aggigiti" and look for the folder with quota styles.

summing up every time you open a table and you need a quota style from the table "options / document properties - standard drawing / upload file from the outside". I, for example, have made a style of altitude for dimensions in bulk to put on the catalogs and one classic interior.Cattura.webp
