help ellipse with patran

Hello everyone,
is the first time I write about this forum. I have a small problem with paran geometry controls: does anyone know if there is a command to create an ellipse-shaped curve knowing the length of the two axes? as said the problem is small but would greatly simplify the work of thesis.

the ellipses are created as conical in the command created>curve>conic

with a parameter (conic section explained) <0.5
But I can't tell you how to make the ellipse you need.
otherwise you can do a half spline creating in the two extreme vertices and in the central summit a point and then passing the spline for the three points and imposing the beginning tangence to normal carriers. vectors are indicated among the signs of minor and greater.
