Good morning, everyone.
I would like to avoid (if possible) using ie, since firefox is faster and more practical in everything.
but the nx help is not working.

Did someone have my own problem and see how to solve it?

Thank you very much, and good holidays!

hi beppino, I just installed ( after not few litigi ) windows seven , firefox
I'm installing nx6 these days.
As soon as I've tried, I'll tell you.
I don't know if I'm going to be in the day.

Hi.
I also have the same problem with firefox! I found no way to fix :36_1_4:!!!
for now I launch ie manually when I need the guide, but the system is really uncomfortable.

tried with google chrome? is reliable as firefox and even a lighter. has only some trouble with some websites that make use of massive applet.

But maybe in your case it works.

thanks to all of the interest.

As far as google chrome regains, I would rather not install it, to avoid adding other software.

thanks 1000 of the suggestion.

the work around works.

... but without "ie motor" is not possible?
found the solution in the online help
... if it can be useful to someone else...
mozilla firefox 3.0.5 or higher

note:

firefox has a default security setting that prevents the help from launching correctly from a unc path (file:///). if you intend to launch the nx help using an http:// protocol, you must set the value of the security.fileuri.strict_origin_policy preference to false.

to do so:

in the browser url address bar, type about:config.

in the filter field, type security.fileuri.

change the value of the security.fileuri.strict_origin_policy preference to false.

restart the browser.
