Bye to all,
I'm designing a two-axis (x,y) card plotter in pen. and so far nothing new, the network is full of advice...my problem is to design a mechanism that allows me to raise and lower the pen. It's a purely mechanical problem, from the point of view of control I have no problem. I need a mechanism that is light (low inertia) but at the same time guarantees me an exclusively vertical movement of the pen and that works well.
I have made some proposals for the moment using an electromagnet.
Do you have any ideas to give me? ? ?
