I am now entering the world of gis, and as the first work/exercise I chose the analysis of electromagnetic emissions of a part of an electric line.
I have a series of points where I detected the intensity of the field and would like to get a map to gradient colors to overlap then to an orthophoto.
something already I got:
but the process does not convince me completely, for now I have proceeded creating a surface in civil 3d assigning to the coordinate z of the points the value of the emf field detected, from here I exported the points to an external file and then in map 3d I created a surface 3d loading the file exported previously.
the result is a dem to which I then assigned a theme.
I also need to be able to queries to know the value of the field at a given point.
I also tried to use polygons, but I couldn't find the way to get the desired result.
