1) from your set, activating part priority, touch the parts and not the assemblies, in this way, of a group you can select and turn off the internal parts.

I tried to import a set into a side file but it doesn't convince me since then exporting it to step I think the customer can see all the parts individually. I also tried to derive it and export it then in step and nothing changes.. .
the priority part does not work me and cmq is not what I am looking for. I would need to export a set as a single block
Any other advice?
