a stupid question my hopper is rectangular (base major) 2006x1506 , base minor in axis with the major : 506x506 , height 500 . I would like to split it in two pieces , the joint would make it on the short side (1506) .

draw an isoscele trapeze as in figure where:
the base (1) is the entrance of the hopper
the height is equal to the height of the hopper
the other side (2) is the exit of the hopper
obtained the trapeze from one of the lower vertices (a) draw a line, perpendicular to the side of the trapeze (3), of the length of the second side of the entrance of the hopper that you want to obtain*.
repeat the same procedure with the corresponding summit (b) of the exit of the hopper.
mirror on the other side (c-4-d)

* if the side is 1500 and you want to get a hopper in two specular parts draw a line of 750
