It is true, perhaps not with those proportions, but the cost of a motor is worth a tenth of the value of the whole operation in 10 years.when I used to support the air, I felt a discussion about the coffee machine (so take it for what it is...) in which they said that the engines (at the time the ge90 was in design...) were sold with 99% discount, so much the real business was on maintenance.
So, I think what is written in the article is correct.
