hello to everyone, I'm starting these days with I create 4.0, would you tell me how to add the column with the value of the mass in the tree columns?
the only parameter that was already present in "param model" and that I managed to add in the columns is ptc_material_name
Thank you.

you have to customize the template tree, the various parameters are grouped into categories; if the parameter you want, you created it yourself, is among those "defined by user"; that standard mass is pro_mp_mass or similar.

Thank you, the parameter I didn't create it, I think it can go well even the standard one, I just need to keep an eye on the weight in the model tree.
How do I insert that standard pro_mp_mass? the only parameter present and selectable is ptc_material_name under the param model menu.
the other drop-down menus to select the parameters are: info, param database, param feat, param elem annotation, etc and are all empty.
Thank you for your patience

Yes, there are: as I said before others are: info, param database, param feat, param elem annotation, simplified rapp , level, note. They are all empty though and there are no others. allego screeshot

but are you working with completely empty parts?, because the parameters are created as you impose the basic characteristics, such as density, or even better with the set material.

No no, the parts are all over.
I ran the model tree aside for a moment I went into tools /parameters at the bottom right of the window I find a drop-down menu, here selecting mass properties generated, shows me a list of parameters that have to do with the mass: pro_mp_mass, pro_mp_volume, pro_mp_density and many others. all have zero value. These parameters are not visible in the main parameters of the part but are only hidden there

if they have "zero" value means that it lacks density at least and in this case the program does not make available these parameters for the various alternatives (view in certain menus, reports etc.).
the part is better analyzed.

to fast a parameter on the model tree choose "param model" or "param database"
and write under the name of the desired parameter for e.g.

Hello excuse the delay, I know how to add a parameter but does not calculate the mass, I attach a file of example . densita me calculates it from analysis but then how do I see it in the column tree?
