1) uses the levels of detail: suppress as much as you don't need to see, use the appropriate tree in the side browser to manage the various configurations. note that it is absolutely not the same thing that remove visibility, as suppressed elements are downloaded from memory
2) use the simplified contour to lighten the assemblies where you will enter this.

I deleted all constraints but at kb level the file remained unchanged. .

not constraints, assemblies/parts! dx button on part/axis from browser or in the window, > "sopprimi"
simplified contour: menu assemble in inv.2011, what release do you have? specify it in the profile, it is useful not to give advice... Unenforceable!

virtually every part /axieme can be made visible/invisible, but this represents only visualization; or deleted, that is, downloaded from memory but "remembered" in the axieme regarding constraints, etc.
