Hello, I need to import a file of an overall created with cocreate modeling, but I saw that among the various files supported by ansys there are no rescue of cocreate modeling: how can I do?
maybe there is a way to convert cocreate modeling files so that they can be usable by ansys?

Thank you in advance.

step or acis.
you must first export from osd (cocreate) to the step format and then import the file ( .stp extension) to ansys.

to export you must first enable the right form.

if it is the pe version (probable being a student), generally export to neutral formats is not available. in that case you need a paid commercial version.

Unfortunately the situation is the one described by hunter: I am using the pe and I cannot save in the formats suggested by er President :frown:.
the formats in which I can save are: *.pk2 / *.se2 / *.env / *.stl / *.wrl
is it possible to convert with some tool or other program one of these types of files so that it digest from ansys?
or can I recreate from scratch the entire geometry directly with ansys (I use it for the first time and I'm not sure, however the piece is relatively simple to recreate if I can't find other solutions)?

Thanks again.
