Hello to all boys:wink:
I'd like to ask you a question about hybrid modeling. Given that I always work with standard modeling, i.e. not hybrid, I would like to have some clarifications on hybrid modeling.
I realized that by setting in the options the hybrid modeling activates the option via flag:
"When created, it detects wireframe and surface elements
1)in a body
2)in a geometric group
"
Now, I tried to set them both alternately and came out that enabling the first option, all entities (superfici, wireframe, solid) are inserted into the partbody container, instead setting the second option, all wireframe entities and surfaces are inserted into a geometric group container.:confused
but what is at this point the difference between hybrid modeling with the second option applied (as above) and standard modeling if both behave the same?? What's that for?

thank you very much to all:finger:

Hi.
Basically, in hybrid mode and with the geometrical ordered set (or ordered I think it is), you have the logical sequence of surfaces and wireframe as you have in solids.
Anyway, to be sure and have some extra info, marcofa had posted, making us a welcome gift :finger:, this catiapedia:
http://www.cad3d.it/forum1/threads/23436-regalo-di-natale?highlight=catiapediaon page 18 speaks of hybrid modeling but there are also other important information.

Sorry the delay in the answer but at work they blocked the internet connection.....cmq thank you very much for the answer and I will take a look at the catiapedia, I did not know it. thank you very much expat reader:finger:
