Hello everyone,
I am working on the modeling of a container and I would need some suggestions. practically, I extracted the medium surfaces of the components and cleaned the geometry as much as possible. I have meshato and now I should improve the quality of mesh as and where I can. basically, I would have these two problems:

1) with the edges command, I found several free edges, but if I do the equivalence with the maximum tolerance I can afford, they don't completely disappear. How do I proceed? the presence of free edeges what it entails for the purpose of analysis?

2) common surfaces of different components (different materials with different thicknesses), have mesh clearly overlapped. Is there any notice to be taken in these cases? Is it fair to think of "aligning the nodes belonging to the common regions"? if yes, how do we proceed operationally?

I would be grateful if you give me a hand, or any kind of suggestion to improve the quality of mesh, or to verify the actual "goodness". thank you all,

balloon

p.s. currently, with the parameters that have been imposed on me, I have a q.i. equal to 22..
