Hi.

even if I'm taking my hand with this new soft, there are still some things I can't fully understand.

I was following this simple tutorial:
http://www.5min.com/video/how-to-draw-in-autodesk-inventor-2011-299991107 It's for inventor 2011 I have the 2010 version but I think it does the same. At least I think.

I designed the sketch as indicated then I tried to move and center the center of the circle on the central point of the grid as indicated by the tutorial. in the tutorial manages without problems but to me it is prevented and an error message warns me:

"the addition of this bond will hyperwine the sketch"

I don't understand why. will it be because I started drawing the first line of the sketch right from the center of the grid or what?

with these hypervincles still quarrel.

Can you help me understand why and what should I do?

Thank you.

with the f8 button geometri constraints appear, try to see if there is too much bond, like an alignment or something else.to turn off the display of the f9 prizes.

If you, being in the sketch, press the right mouse button and choose " shows all constraints " you will see a series of icons showing you which constraints are applied to the sketch itself.
If you can locate the bond that prevents you from the operation you want to do, you can delete it.
if you can't do it on your own, attach the file we see to understand the specific problem.

Bye.

acc. the very fast davide75 preceded me.

Mah!

I saw the constraints. I eliminated them (dx->elimina) one by one to understand what was causing problems but nothing.

I attach the full file (scratch and model 3d).

If you have any other advice to give me... .

Thank you.

you have made the tangence of the big circle coincide with the origin (you have the bond of projection and tangence together below) for this gives you that message. If you remove the projection bond the sketch becomes green again and you can move it.if by mistake you also delete the projection of the orinigne you do not have to do other ceh do the command project geometry and in the folder of the browser "origin" click central point. I'll get you an image to understand.

effectively eliminating the projection bond the sketch becomes green.
and I can move it "manually" but the matching bond command used in the tutorial however does not go (always reappear the above message).

but what would be the projection bond? How do you create?

the last part of your intervention:

"if you accidentally delete the projection of origin... "

I don't understand it sincerely.

What is that?

Thank you.

You don't want to go because by eliminating the projection bond you don't have the origin anymore and so you can't refer to a fixed point.
the origin when you create a sketch is already projected ( purple dot) so you can go hook there also because it is the fixed reference for the creation of any sketch. If you do not have a fixed system to which to refer your sketch will always be free to move in the space and for this you need a fixed point to refer the sketch to bind it all.
