after understanding the operation of the iparts I went to the iassembly.
I don't know if it's possible, but in iassembly I can't configure the different materials of which are flange and tube compounds.
the final goal would be to have a single stamp configured with different dn and different materials:

1. by 304
2. by 316
3. Carbon steel (iron)

both the flange and the pipe are already configured with the three materials, but when I create iassembly it does not give me the possibility to create configurations with different materials.
I thought you could take a waterfall.
Any ideas?

n.b.: the option "table replacement" finds it in the "component" flag and must be forced to make it appear. If you create the partner directly in the axieme you initially do not appear. you must insert the ipart into the axieme later and then the iassembly transposes it. I hope I explained.
I add that the material is inherent property of the part. so the procedure you do not work well. you need to create iparts with material options and then choose the desired version of the ipart. change the material in assembly environment is improper... also because you should select the parts to which you actually change the material, something a little complicated
